Speaking: Employers/Young Adults

My son, Johnny, held and lost many jobs from the ages of 14 to 19, due to his THC use, not showing up for work, arriving to work high, driving high, being late, or saying rude things.

If you have 18-to-30-year old young adults in your workplace, you could be impacted by their THC use as well and not REALLY understand what problems it’s causing in your workplace.

Many employers don’t understand the brain is still forming into the late 20s, and THC use negatively impacts formation.

THC use in employees can cause culture problems, stress, excessive sick days, poor performance, and decreased productivity.

Are you middle managers able to recognize THC use in their employees? If a team leader would have understand the cause of Johnny’s performance issue, maybe they could have intervened.

Have you educated your employees on the harms of THC on the brain until age 30? How does someone in your company get help? What do you do if you recognize someone is in danger? Bring Laura Stack into talk to them to keep them from going down this path.
