This study found that cannabis use among Canadians is linked with anxiety, depression, and suicidality. From 2012 to 2022, both cannabis use and depression and anxiety disorders rose, with stronger links between them over time. These findings reveal a growing association between cannabis use and depression, anxiety, and suicidality in Canada.
