Three youth presenters, Piper Miles, Greyson Crawford, and Izzy Robbins presented the Johnny’s Ambassadors Youth THC Prevention curriculum at the H.Y.P.E(Henry County Prevention Empowerment) conference! There were 30 parents in attendance at their “Empowered Parent” session at the Krider Performing Arts Theater in Paris, TN. They said they were a bit nervous, but they did a fabulous job! The parents in attendance said they gained more knowledge about the harms of youth THC use. Way to go, Piper, Greyson, and Izzy!

I’m pleased to be listed in the credits as an advisor for a new one-hour film “The Cannabis Deception” that aired on Maine Public last night 2/27 from our partners at Students Empowered to End Dependency (SEED). Johnny’s Ambassadors Scientific Advisory Board member, Dr. Ken Finn, Johnny’s Ambassadors faculty member, Dr. Bertha Madras, and Author of the Foreword to my book and SAM ally, Kevin Sabet, were all featured experts.

I was honored to be invited to keynote the Cannabis and Young Minds event at the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (RCSI) MyHealth event in Dublin! It was our first trip to Ireland, and John and I had an incredible experience sharing Johnny’s story with 500 attendees. I explained what is happening in the U.S. with youth THC use and the outcomes of legalization. Marijuana is illegal in Ireland, but HHC (semi-synthetic) is rampant and harming their youth. They are just starting to understand Cannabis-Induced Psychosis.

Congratulations to Tiffany Setchfield, of the ADAPT Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team of Branson, MO, who presented for the first time on 3/11/25 to 16 students! The students learned a lot about the harms of THC use on their brains, as evidenced by their pre/post surveys before and after the class. The ADAPT Tag Team has several other presentations coming up at the end of the month as well. If you would like to sponsor a TAG TEAM, the adult sponsor can register at JohnnysAmbassadors.org/tagteam to receive the materials.

The goals and principles of One Chance to Grow Up are focused on transparency and education of parents, trusted adults, policymakers, and regulators nationwide, to implement and orchestrate sound THC policy, and robust regulations to protect all youth.
