I am so sorry for your loss. This is nothing new. In 1978, just before I turned 18, I was a college freshman away from home and smoked a very strong marijuana joint. Some folks suggested that that joint may have been laced with something “stronger” like Angel Dust, but I think I was just susceptible to hallucinogens causing me to have a severe reaction. I had a psychotic episode and ultimately had to drop out of college a month later. I was able to later return to school, but I never smoked pot again.

Fast forward, and I have had a good life. I believe people underrate the dangers of Marijuana just as they turn a blind eye to the dangers of alcohol. Back when Colorado voted to make marijuana use legal, I voted against it. (And I am a very liberal person!). I was a middle school teacher at the time and I knew if it was legalized it would be all over the school within months and I was right. What had been an illegal taboo became commonplace.
