Apply for a middle or high school assembly scholarship from Johnny’s Ambassadors

For Johnny’s Ambassadors annual #StopDabbing fundraiser this fall, we will be raising funds to help your students be THCFREE! Our goal is to raise $100,000 to give away TWENTY scholarships for middle and high school assemblies on the risks of youth THC use. We have a long list of schools who would love to have an assembly but don’t have the budget for the program fee. So, our generous donors are going to donate the money FOR YOUR SCHOOL during our annual fundraiser. This scholarship will waive the $5000 assembly fee, and winning schools will only pay a flat $1500 to cover travel costs.

How do you apply? We’ll need two things from you to enter you into the fundraiser: (1) a photo of your students’ smiling faces (large or small group) for the fundraising site, and (2) a writeup on why you would like to receive a scholarship to accompany your photo.

Please send an EMAIL to [email protected] with the following:

  1. A photo of your students attached! It could be an existing group photo of the student body OR a smaller photo with a smaller group of students doing SOMETHING CREATIVE with big smiles! Like holding up a poster with “We love Johnny’s Ambassadors” etc. written on it would attract a lot of attention for your school. You get ONE photo only so make it a good one!
  2. A writeup answering the following questions:
  • Why would you like to receive a scholarship from Johnny’s Ambassadors for an assembly on youth THC prevention?
  • Have you seen problems with THC use at your schools (vapes/dabs/smokes/edibles)?
  • What do you think your students currently know about the harms of THC and why would this education be helpful?
  • Would you normally have the $5000 budget for an assembly like this?

Applications are due by MONDAY, JUNE 22, 2026.

Once all applications have been received, we will build the website and start raising funds! On Sunday, Sept. 20, the fundraiser will end, and winning scholarships will be awarded. We will work hard to award all scholarships! The only catch is you won’t have a lot of flexibility on the day/time of your assembly. It will be a giant jigsaw puzzle to figure out the travel, but the assemblies will be one hour in the morning first period.
