National Marijuana Facts Week
National Marijuana Facts Week (NMFW) is an annual, week-long, national health observance created in 2021 by Johnny’s Ambassadors Youth THC Prevention. NMFW raises public awareness about the dangers of today’s high potency marijuana and THC products on adolescent brain development, mental illnesses such as Cannabis-Induced Psychosis, and suicidality.
OUR 5th ANNUAL CONFERENCE FEATURES TWO FULL DAYS OF YOUTH THC EDUCATION AND PREVENTION TRAINING WITH RENOWNED EXPERTS. Our speakers will discuss the latest on teen THC use, addiction, psychosis, suicidality, mental illness, intervention, treatment, community activism, and more! Attend to understand the latest science on the harms of youth THC use. You’ll participate in real-time conference presentations and interact with the speakers through Q&A sessions (via chat if you’re virtual). Dress code is business casual.

All Community Conversations are from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Laura will give a one-hour presentation, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. The ENTIRE COMMUNITY is invited: parents (and older teens over 16), schools, healthcare and prevention professionals, legislators, community coalitions, law enforcement, and small businesses. Flyers and registration websites will soon be available.

Johnny’s Ambassadors looking for high school students to create original videos about the harms of underage THC use (sorry, no middle school students for this particular program). Please help us get the word out by providing education on why THC is harmful for the developing brain, mental health, and your life! The contest begins on January 27, 2027, and ends on April 13, 2027.
NATIONAL ANTI-420 Day™, is Johnny’s Ambassadors effort to counter 420 weed day, a day celebrated by the marijuana industry and users. Instead, we offer activities to share with your prevention groups. This year, to celebrate NATIONAL ANTI-420 DAY on Tuesday, April 20, Johnny’s Ambassadors is offering a free train-the-trainer certification with Laura Stack teaching our parent AND teen curriculum.
